    i'd heard good things about bangla so thought id give it a go. first of all we were kept waiting for over an HOUR despite having made a reservation. we had to stand at the bar because it was so busy however alot of tables were left empty. this is a badly managed restuarant - the service was hasselled and hurried all through the night and they didn't even take all our plates away each time from the previous service! however the food is the BEST indian food i've EVER had. its not over spiced, as in it isn't over hot, but you can taste all the different flavours. the chicken chaat starter was superb and the madras to follow was also excellent. the food totally made up for the service, if you love authentic indian food then this is the place to go. unfortuatley they dont do take out - or id be there all the time!
