• PLANET EATER = THE WORST COMIC SHOP I HAVE VISITED

  Ok then, i visited the shop on my holiday in Southport, and the place didn't seem to bad. That was until you started to have a closer look, at the items around you. The back issues in stock looked used and tatty, with rips and pen marks over alot of them. The up to date selection of comics, were bent and were not protected with sleeves. And the owner was so grumpy, who kept looking at you where ever you went. When i asked if he had some certain comics i needed, he didn't have a clue what i was on about. My impression was, he really didn't know alot about comics, and he wasn't helpful at all. When my younger brother opened up a comic worth only 75p, i couldn't believe what happened next. He came straight over and had a go about opening them, and that they'll get damaged. That done it for me and i left, so in my opinion i wouldn't recommend it at all. So if you are visiting Southport don't bother going in!!!

  Great comic shop packed to the brim with graphic novels, comics and various bits of merchandise. The staff know their onions too! Well worth a look if you are into your graphic novels, and worth a look if you are looking for something a bit rare too.
