    I recently visited The Yew Tree Inn with some friends. Without exception, we were all disappointed with our experience and unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. We waited almost an hour after placing our orders before we were invited to a table. When we were served, we had to ask after some minutes for our vegetables and potatoes which appeared to have been forgotten. The quality of cooking and presentation was poor, two of us receiving hard and burned food. The kitchen is open to the restaurant leaving our clothes smelling of greasy cooking odours and requiring dry cleaning.
